About A Purple Mountain
My educational choice, personality, and thinking have all come to be because of a purple mountain. I was 5 years old when I was told by my art teacher that mountains are not supposed to be purple. I was told time and again as a child that I was not naturally gifted with technical skills to be creative on paper, but I never stopped painting. With time I gained the technical skills to be able to express myself aesthetically through art, but I was not conventional. I would first throw colors on the canvas and then turn it into something rather than typically sketching first. This approach seeped into my thinking. Because of ‘purple mountains’, I am now someone who is not afraid to think outside of the box and do things differently. And to my fortune, there is a place for people like me - Advertising.
